私が入居しているマンションの郵便受けの近く、エレベーターの前に、不要なチラシを捨てるための
ゴミ箱があるのですが、そこに分別が必要な空き缶やペットボトル、ひどい時にはカップ麺や
ファーストフード店の飲み物の容器がそのまま捨てられていることがありました。
管理人さんが「チラシ専用ゴミ箱」と張り紙をしても、一向に減りませんでした。
でも、ついさっき気付いたんです。 これは、今の地球の縮図だと。
今の日本では文字を読めない人は皆無だと思いますので、張り紙を読んだ上で、捨てているんですね。
このような人は、たぶんまだ、自分のことしか考えられない段階の人なのでしょう。
こんな人に、いちいち腹を立てるのは無駄なことですよね。
でも、「あなたはもうひとりの私」というネイティブ・アメリカンの諺でもわかりますが、
そんな人も「私」なんですよね。
感情に流されず、自分を観察、監視しようと、改めて決心させて下さった、ありがたい出来事でした。
